Job Description

Altum are partnering with a growing climate-focussed iNGO to find a dynamic and commercially focused finance business partner, to work collaboratively with the programme teams.As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for;

  • Being the finance contact for budgeting and forecasting process
  • Business partnering with country offices to increase finance understanding and challenge and make recommendations where possible
  • Providing meaningful analysis and insight on financial performance to aid decision making
  • Reviewing and processing grant agreements, transfers and cashflow requests for emergencies
  • Due diligence of partner organisations
  • Financial management of restricted fund applications, projects and reporting
  • Continuously seeking to make process improvement/efficiencies where possible
The ideal candidate will
  • Be a part/fully qualified CCAB accountant with ideally with experience working in the charity/NFP sectors
  • Have experience and knowledge of restricted fund/donor reporting
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and negotiate with senior stakeholders
