Job Description

Ministry Venues is a corporate B2B events agency with two creative exciting venues with over 21 unique spaces. The entrepreneurial creative spirit of our founders is ever present in the company today, we remain true to our ethos of disruptingthe norm, keeping quality at the heart of everything we do, helping businesses to be bold and collaborative.We work with the worlds leading brands, creative businesses and event production companies to produce events across all our spaces. Attention to detail and a focus on excellence ensures we are an award winning team. We now host over 600 corporate eventsa year across our portfolio of spaces, serviced by our experienced event management team.Summary of the role:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the companys client base and solidify its presence
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team and assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses
  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnels in assigned customers accounts
  • Building and promoting healthy, long lasting client relationships
  • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
  • Providing weekly reports of sales success and losses and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and create bespoke offerings to meet with clients needs
  • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
  • Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach, creating both short and long term pipelines.
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Set objectives for the Sales Team, train, coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them
  • Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times and ensure that the Sales Team follow the standards set out
  • Carry out continuous competitor analysis, benchmarking our offer on price, quality and range of products available
  • All other duties as required.
Person Specification:
  • 5+ years in Sales Management within a corporate setting
  • Proven track record of success in the sales cycle from inception to close
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills
  • Superb leadership ability
  • Event degree is preferred although not essential
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Operational experience is preferred or a good knowledge of the operational process
