Job Description

Position Overview:This role is based in our London office 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week. The role of Creative Lead sits within the Creative Department with operational reporting to the Studio Manager. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for Graphic Design+ UX and the design and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with digital tools. The Creative Lead will work closely with other members of the Creative team to ensure seamless web/mobile design and the successful implementationof UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital projects.At Identity we pride ourselves on delivering high quality creative. The position demands excellent attention to detail and a willingness to maintain the high standards the industry demands.The person must have a confident and enthusiastic approach to our diverse industry and must be committed to delivering excellent customer service maintaining professionalism.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Creating original and inspiring graphic designs
  • Leading the team of digital designers in creating CX centred designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
  • Creating user personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
  • Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems
  • Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
  • Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
  • Understand creative and exhibition trends and how to compete in our space
  • Directly communicate with Head of Department with regard to staff and workloads
  • Maintaining and continuously developing creative knowledge and expertise
  • Experience in using Azure/XD or similar UX/UI software applications would be beneficial
Skills and Experience:Essential:
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • You have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a customer focused manner
  • Can demonstrate the ability to carry out tasks within set timeframes
  • Self-prioritise workload according to the business needs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • People management skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Hands-on, can-do approach
Desirable:
  • Commercial awareness
  • Proposal and pitching experience
  • Good level of computer literacy, particularly regarding Microsoft applications
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
