Job Description

A leading flexible office space provider with a portfolio of quirky and funky buildings are looking for an energetic, outgoing, sociable and confident Assistant Centre / Building Manager to join their team near London Bridge.Working closely with a well-established and successful Centre / Building Manager, you will assist in the management of 2 busy business centres (both within a few minutes walk of each other). The largest site comprises over 100,000 sq ft of space and is home to over 100 businesses. The second site is approximately 50,000 sq ft and is home to over 50 businesses. With cafes on site, rising occupancy levels (following the return to offices post lockdown), meeting room and event space available - this is a busy and varied role in which no two days are likely to be the same! These are very busy centres and tenants include a nice mixture of good quality firms from a variety of industries - not a corporate business suit type site but neither is it overly creativeAlthough you will be working closely with an experienced Centre Manager you will be confident enough to work alone as required and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. This role is centred around relationship management (tenants, visitors, colleagues, contractors etc) so you must be confident dealing with a variety of people - this company value customer feedback, in fact they actively seek it out! In terms of character you will be a happy, friendly, super-organised candidate with a passion for problem solving, building relationships, using your initiative and you won’t shy away from the admin elements of the role - attention to detail is essential!The Assistant Centre / Building Manager will be involved in the delivery of:

  • The customer journey - service and satisfaction levels are key
  • Sales / occupancy levels - maximising opportunities wherever possible
  • Operations management / facilities management - 2 busy sites will challenge your organisational skills
  • Social media, marketing and events - networking and community creation
  • Finance and Administration
  • In an ideal world the successful Assistant Centre / Building Manager will have worked in a flexible workspace/business centre environment and have an understanding of the challenges and nature of the work involved - particularly as this is assisting in the management of 2 buildings! You may have been in a meeting and events, facilities or billings coordinator type role and are now looking for that move onto the management pathway, or, perhaps you are currently an Assistant Centre Manager looking for additional responsibility and clear future career opportunities - the sky is the limit!
