Job Description

Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant (Nights)Location: SouthportSalary: £10.25 - £11 per hourJob type: Full Time, permanent.Who we are Since opening the doors of our very first care home in 2014, Athena Healthcare Group has gradually expanded to a total of 11 Lodges spread across the North West of England and Dover. Each Lodge offers various care services from superior residential careto tailored nursing and dementia care.We work closely with our residents, their loved ones and medical professionals to ensure tailored care is delivered to each resident, meeting their needs and preferences. With a person-centred approach at the heart of everything we do, our Lodges aim toprovide compassionate care and support whilst encouraging fun, fulfilling and vibrant lifestyles.About the role; We are looking for a new Senior Healthcare Assistant (Nights) to join our team. As an SHCA, you will be leading your team of Healthcare Assistants, ensuring all members of your team are providing person-centred care to all residents, whilst respecting residentsdignity and privacy at all times.Requirements:

  • Ensuring that each individuals right to independence and choice are met.
  • Keeping accurate care and medical records.
  • Instilling a positive work environment.
  • Supporting your care team and holding their supervisions/appraisals.
  • Liaising with health professionals and relatives to achieve the best care for each resident.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors according to all safety requirements.

For this role it is essential;
  • Have relevant medication administrative experience.
  • Have relevant care home experience.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will receive a higher rate of pay if you hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.Employee Benefits:
