SEN Learning Support Assistant Are you caring, patient and hardworking and wish to put your energy and time into supporting students with additional learning needs / difficultiesStart September in a highly rewarding SEN Learning Support Assistant opportunity based at a warm & welcoming Southport school!SEN Learning Support Assistant - About the role:The SEN Learning Support Assistant role would see you working with students who may have physical needs, ASD diagnosis ADHD and other impairments, ensuring their learning environment is safe.SEN Learning Support Assistant - This role will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Work with students who have additional learning needs
  • 1:1 and group work
  • Support across primary & secondary schools
  • Work alongside the SENDCo and teachers
  • Gain invaluable classroom experience
  • Put your SEN knowledge to perfect use
SEN Learning Support Assistant - Candidate specification:
  • Prior SEN / education experience
  • Autism knowledge
  • Compassionate and patient matter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
  • Good availability, being able to work under short notice
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
