Job Description

Job Title: Registered General Nurse (RGN)Location: SouthportSalary: £18 per hourJob type: Full Time, Part-time permanent.Who we are Since opening the doors of our very first care home in 2014, Athena Healthcare Group has gradually expanded to a total of 11 Lodges spread across the North West of England and Dover. Each Lodge offers various care services from superior residential careto tailored nursing and dementia care.We work closely with our residents, their loved ones and medical professionals to ensure tailored care is delivered to each resident, meeting their needs and preferences. With a person-centred approach at the heart of everything we do, our Lodges aim toprovide compassionate care and support whilst encouraging fun, fulfilling and vibrant lifestyles.About the role; We are searching for a new Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join us. You will be advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and each individualscare plan is met.In this role you will be;

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required.
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention.
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery.
  • Monitoring and controlling residents nutritional and dietary requirements.
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff.

  • Qualifications & Experience.
For this role it is essential;
  • Are currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number).
  • Have relevant care home experience.
  • Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care.
