Electrical Project Engineer Southport£30,000 - £35,000Time Recruitment Solutions are currently assisting a global business with the recruitment of a Electrical Project Engineer.This position as become available due to growth and as such are now looking to expand the team.The position is to provide engineering support in-house and externally to both overseas company divisions and directly to clients.Tasks and Responsibilities as Electrical Project Engineer:Technical*Carries out manual engineering calculations;*Control panel design and development including wiring;*Involvement with Heat Treatment product development;*Liaison with customers and clients to provide a bespoke solution service;*Work with the wider Engineering team on furnace design and commission;*Provides the business with all necessary engineering support including preparation of procedures, specifications, site visits etc.Documentation*Develops working procedures and instruction documents;*Ensures internal databases are fully accurate and updated on a timely basis;*Maintains a working knowledge of all relevant codes, standards and regulations;*Assists with tenders and audits where necessary;*Creates, reviews and updates relevant processes and procedures.Create a safe and compliant working environment*Takes ownership and responsibility for own behaviour and working environment in line with HSEQ policy and procedure;*Ensure self-compliance with all company procedures and standards including any defined recording and reporting requirements;*Report any non-compliance, unsafe act or environment to line manager.Remains flexible to the needs of the business*Undertakes reasonable ad-hoc or routine duties as directed by line manager.Specific Requirements for the Electrical Project Engineer:Education & ExperienceEducation*Qualified (or currently working towards) an engineering (Electrical) based degree level qualification;*18th Edition;*Qualified in electrical drawing packages e.g. EPLAN or similar;*BS EN 60204-1 and awareness of other standards as needed.Experience and Skills*Practical experience in a similar role, ideally Heat Treatment focused;*Electrical Installation experience;*Experience of control panel design and wiring;*Software/PLC experience;*Experience of product development and bespoke solution design;*Experienced in working on multiple projects/assignments concurrently;*Confident and versatile to be able to work independently or as part of a team;*Strong written and verbal communication skills;*Able to communicate clearly, concisely and appropriately with internal colleagues and external customers at all levels in an organisation;*Strong ICT skills and proficient in the use of MS Office packages.If you have the skillset and experience for this role then please click APPLY or call Gary Gittings at Time Recruitment Solutions for a private and confidential chat.
