One of our recruitment partners will discuss these options with you on receipt of your application.So, what will you be doingOur Customer Service Assistants have a strong focus on customer service outside in the yard and in the branch, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers and enjoys working outdoors - quite an all rounderrole, working with sales and customers along with also out in the yard happy driving a forklift.Your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
  • Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
  • Help to process and prepare customer orders
  • Load/unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift to minimise manual handling
  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
  • Phoning current customers and working on building new business
  • Admin based role as well, computer literate and comfortable would be preferred
  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
