* Hybrid working - 2 days from home and 3 days in the Southport office* Salary £24,000 plus team bonus, plus excellent benefits* Mon - Fri, 37.5 hours per week, flexible hours between 8am - 5pmWith my client I am recruiting for an enthusiastic and professional candidate to join their busy, demanding and ever growing Credit Control department The main purpose of the role is to manage your own set of customer accounts and to chase, manage and minimise overdue payments. You will liaise with customers via telephone and email to discuss the status of their account and work with them to keep them inline with their contract and payment terms.Previous Credit Control experience is not essential, the role would also suit someone who has strong Admin / Customer Service skills looking for a new challenge!Daily duties will include;* Contact customers via telephone and email to advise of overdue payments and prompting them to arrange payment* Produce and send copy invoices / statements as requested* Handle and resolve any invoice and payment issues or discrepancies* Liaise with various internal teams to help resolve any queries* Accurately process payments to allow the Allocations team to reconcile and allocate incoming payments correctly* Provide cover for any absences or increased workload in the team - you must have an adaptive and flexible working approach* You must have good attention to detail for updating notes and processing payments * Closely managing your accounts and ensuring no-one is going too far over their payment terms or contract agreements * Liaise with the Sales department to advise of any customers being placed on hold due to overdue invoices * Monitor and manage customer credit limits * Complete all associated Admin work - accurately updating the database etcFull Credit Control training is provided - we are looking for someone with a confident and enthusiastic approach and someone who really wants to learn and get stuck in.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and secure global business - they can offer a full career!Interviews asap - start dates available before and after Christmas Please send your CV to We regret to advise that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
