Control Panel Builder - Ormskirk - £10ph - £11.50ph (dependent upon experience) About the CompanyOur client is an established provider of waste management solutions all over the world - medical waste, agricultural and general waste solutions. Working together with clients through the design, manufacture and technology implementation process to ensure thebest available solution for their waste.Control Panel Builder - Rewards* £10.00ph - £11.50ph - dependent upon experience* Hours of work - Mon- Thurs 07.45hrs - 16.30hrs and Fri 07.45hrs - 15.15hrs* 20 days holiday plus bank holidaysControl Panel Builder - Requirements * Must be very detailed oriented and strive to achieve high quality results.* Ability to multitask, prioritise, organise and adhere to written procedures.* Professionalism, a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team.* Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of internal and external customers* Compete looming of wiring to a high standard* Wiring of control panels from start to finish* Good working knowledge of all aspects of control panel wiring* Wiring panels for automation systems* Reading electrical schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, schedules and layout drawings* Making out for component fit, fitting of components to chassis plates.* Assembly of electrical control panels, junction boxes and some wire harnesses* Forklift license would be beneficial, but not essentialControl Panel Builder - Responsibilities* Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures * Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures* Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards* Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation* Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions* Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication* Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion* Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and the Project Manager* The ability to meet deadlines under pressure* A high standard of quality and attention to detail.* Perform other duties as assigned or as needed* Ensure your work area is clean and tidy at all times ensuring there are no trip hazards.* Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn dependent upon the job function being performed.* Ensure any trailing electrical cables are properly covered to avoid trip hazards and cable damage.* Report all accidents/incidents and near misses immediately.* Only use equipment which you are authorised to use and follow safe operating procedures at all times.* Ensure all equipment has a pre use check.
