Job Description

Classroom supervisorA perfect role for coaches, instructors, group leaders, vocational teachers and experienced cover supervisorsPart time / Full time roles from February half term onwardsThe roleMilk Education are a 5 star rated education recruitment company. We have partnered with a school in Sefton/Merseyside, who are looking to appoint unqualified School support staffto start with them ASAP. Flexible hours both full and part time, term time only.Thisrole is a great opportunity to join a school if unqualified and want to make a difference. You do not need to hold a formal qualification for this role, we are looking for candidates that have transferable skills and experience (including volunteering) workingwith children.To be considered for the position of anUnqualified Classroom Supervisoryou must:

  • You must have transferable skills
  • Previous experience cover supervising - (desirable but not essential)
  • Be passionate and understanding
  • Have recent experience working with children
  • You must either have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one through us here at Milk Education.
Specific duties and responsibilities
  • Supervising the students in class, ensuring they complete set tasks
  • Managing behaviour
  • Assisting students when they have questions with the preassigned work
  • Upholding schools behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Collecting completed work and handing it to the Head of Department
  • Providing feedback on the lesson and student to Head of Department
