A global animation agency is looking for an animator to join their creative team in Southport. This is an exciting role to join a 20+ person team with 1,500 clients globally.In this role, youll be responsible for animating the awesome videos they create for their clients. Their illustration team will provide you with all the assets - and youll be in charge of bringing them to life. They work with the Adobe Creative Cloud so its essential that you have experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro. Beyond this, they are keen to train you to help develop your skillset and advance your career. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong knowledge of motion graphic design principles and design software, with 2-5 years work experience in this type of role.Knowledge of character rigging and animation principles are essential and a grasp of the latest plugins and scripts would be of benefit eg. Rubberhose, Character Tool, DUIK Bassel, Element 3d. Video editing and 3D skills are beneficial.Key Responsibilities- Creating animated videos from supplied and/or self-created graphics, screencasts and/or screenshots.- Thinking creatively to produce interesting ideas and concepts.- Creating beautiful animations that flow well.- Managing the pace of videos so theyre easy to follow.- Working within a clients brand guidelines to create beautiful-looking videos that align well with their brand personality and other marketing materials.- Managing customer relationships like a boss - the company pride themselves on offering first-class customer service, so youll need to be passionate about going the extra mile!- Recording all project details accurately in their project management system.- Working with a wide range of media, including, illustration, animation photography and video footage.- Proofing your own work - and that of your colleagues - to ensure high standards across your team and throughout the business.- Working with copywriters, illustrators, animators, account executives, marketing specialists and the admin team to do great work and delight customers.- Keeping up with industry trends and best practices.Person Specification- Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.- Strong computer (Apple Mac) skills.- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud.- A professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.- Ability to work to a brief agreed with the client or account manager.- The ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions.- Great attention to detail.- The temperament and skill set to balance work on several projects at a time.- Willingness to speak up and offer alternative solutions where required.- An instinctive knowledge for when design looks and feels right.Benefits- Great working environment.- Pension scheme and health plan.- Generous holidays.- A friendly, supportive and highly experienced team.LocationSouthport - PR9
