Job Description

Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: Southend on SeaSalary: £30,000 per annum (Starting Salary plus commission)Job Type: Full time, PermanentThe company is a specialist engineering company that offers a bespoke cutting service to many different industries providing bespoke and high precision cutting for many materials.We are looking for a motivated salesperson to expand the business and manage the current sales team.The Role:

  • The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday (35 hours).
  • Developing the sales and growth of the business
  • Building relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Maximising sales opportunities
  • Bring a structured sales plan into place
  • A flexible attitude, well organised and ability to work independently and as a team to tight deadlines.
  • Consistency regardless of project size.
  • Liaising effectively with other team members
  • A non pushy sales approach. The candidate would need to be very personable, approachable, informative and just to be themselves. Easy to deal with, hassle free and informative and knowledgeable.
  • Updating our social media channels and engaging with our followers, responsibilities include: Content Creation and Posting, Community Management, Audience Engagement Strategies, Announcements and Updates, Feedback and Improvement Management.

  • A minimum of 2 years Sales Experience.
  • Good People Skills.
  • Ability to create and manage their own pipeline.
  • Account Management.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Presentable
