Semi-Senior Accountant Mayfair, Central London (Hybrid) £30,000 - £40,000 + study support Butler Rose, public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established small Central London accounting firm that are eager to appoint a semi-senior accountant to complement the existing team as they continue to grow. Role Requirements - Preparing financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC Producing personal tax self assessment SA100 returns for individuals Supporting with the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients Liaising with the HMRC on behalf of clients and resolving any outstanding queries General bookkeeping to include production of quarterly VAT returns using Quickbooks and XERO Involved in client projects as required by the partners Person Requirements - At least 2 years experience as a trainee/semi-senior accountant working for a UK based practice where they have gained practical experience in accounts preparation, personal tax, management accounts and bookkeeping. Ideally AAT qualified and/or studying towards either the ACA or ACCA. Study support will be given where appropriate Proficient in the use of cloud based accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, CCH, IRIS.
