Together, we will move the world forward!As a Senior Quality Engineer working within the Civil Aftermarket Team at our Wolverhampton site, reporting to theQuality Manager for Nacelle Actuation Systems, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, planning and implementing key projects to improve quality, reduce cost and increase productivity by reducing scrap, rework, concessions resulting in significant businessimprovement and customer satisfaction.In this role you will:Interface with Operations Quality Clinics and Internal teams for all Value Stream related Quality issuesEnsure full containment of all quality related issues is conducted both internally and at associatedsites in a timely mannerLead and facilitate robust RRCA to drive quality improvements.Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to all applicable requirements.Ensure critical QNs are actioned through 8Ds and other problem solving tools.Supportthe reduction of non-conformances from within the Value Stream ensuring zero repeated escapes.Support Zero Defect Initiative across key products / processes.Report out as required on key actions and road blocks preventing effective closure of 8DsSupport theestablishment, monitoring & maintenance of the companys Quality Standards within OperationsDevelop the companys Quality procedures and management system to ensure that best practice is achieved within all business areasProduce appropriate Metrics & Reportsto facilitate continuous improvement & clearly communicate actions & progressYou will bring to the role:An understanding of Quality requirements and contractual flow downsDemonstrated experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)Demonstrated experienceworking within an Aftermarket EnvironmentAble to identify and resolve problems using Quality toolbox.Application of measurement, analysis or continuous improvement toolsRoot Cause and Corrective Action practitioner using 8D process or similar.Lean Practitioneran advantage.PC literate - capable user of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication abilityBe highly motivated, with a strong ability to use own initiativeA team player able to work within a multi-disciplinary teamAs partof the legal requirement to comply with international trade controls, we require all candidates to successfully complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check including criminal record checks.
