This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours perweek) however we welcome applications from candidates who are looking to work reduced hours, for example 30 hours per week / 4 days to achieve a better worklife balance. Role overview: This position within Collins Aerospace UK is for an Accountant reportingto the Finance Manager based out of Winnersh, UK. Building trust and respect by working with integrity to achieve excellence and drive innovation, this position is responsible for supporting the accounting requirements of the Finance Manager and the widerCollins Aerospace business. The role provides the opportunity to work with diverse cross-functional and cross-border teams within the organisation, providing financial insight and guidance in support of business decisions to achieve stated objectives, whilstensuring adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Primary responsibilities: Complete balance sheet reconciliations a number of Collins Aerospace entities.Completion of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for a number of EuMEA entities.Developsrelationships with external financial consultants and advisors to support the external audits and tax compliance for various entities within the group and ensure these are completed in a timely manner.Provide cover and support for the wider Accounting teamas required.Ensures all financial transactions are in accordance with GAAP and statutory requirements as well as being compliant with internal controls, processes and procedures.Supports internal audits, to ensure compliance and timely completion. The surrounding areas have fantastic rail and road links to London andthe rest of the UK.
