Young Persons IDVALocation: South ShieldsSalary: £24,717 per annum (pro rata)When you nurture a family, you strengthen a community.Are you a qualified IDVA with a passion for working with young peopleOur client currently has a vacancy for a Young Persons IDVA to join their team.The RoleThe successful candidate will provide a proactive engaging service to adolescent victims and survivors of domestic abuse across South Tyneside. They will be passionate and knowledgeable about the needs of adolescents and the impact domestic abuse has onthem.They will be experienced at risk assessment and management and be able to work dynamically and creatively with existing resources. They will develop existing services to further meet the needs of young people; increasing their safety and supporting themto engage in a meaningful way.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary team.
