Job Description

About the roleThe Education Network is looking to recruit Nursery Nurses to work within one of our partnership schools based in the South Shields area. We are currently looking for enthusiastic Nursery Nurses who are committed to enhancing the education of children withina classroom.The successful applicant will have prior experience working as a Nursery Nurse and will need to understand the Early Years curriculum and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible. Candidates must hold a recognised qualification Level2 or above and have recent school/nursery experience.If the role of Nursery Nurse interests you, and you meet the following requirements then we would love to hear from you.

  • Experience working in an Early Years setting either within a school or private nursery within the last 2 years
  • Relevant Early Years level 2/3 qualification
  • Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
  • Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or a willingness to apply for one
