The business designs, manufacture and market stylish functional clothing and footwear for men, women and children inspired by the unique values ofthe British countryside. The brand is sold in over 40 countries worldwide, including Europe, the US and Japan.This will include sampling, administration, and technical updates. The role will support the Menswear team to deliver collections in budget and on time, in line with the critical path deadlines.Description

• Support with the coordination and administration admin of the specials process. For the brand a special is an exclusive product for a specific wholesale customer, outside of our current range.
• Liaise with suppliers on Special enquiries.
• Ensure samples are delivered on time from the supplier.
• Communicate sample requirements to the factory ready for approval.
• Send design sheets to the supplier and factories to help to answer any queries.
• Hand over items to Specials team ready to send to the customer.
• Liaise with production to update them on which special styles are currently in work.
• Monitor sample approval process for the Specials, keeping the supplier up to date.
• Work with the design team to keep the garment Matrixes up to date.
• Assist the technical team in measuring all the new seasons agent samples, checking against approved size specification charts.
• Work with the production team to set up and send production comments to suppliers and factories.
• Attend fit sessions post launch making notes on fit and any changes to the spec.
• Help to set up and then update fit comments.
• Send fit comments once approved by production, to the supplier and answer any queries.
• Work with production to set up the agent sample comments.
• Support the production team with the Gold Seal and Black Seal sample approval process.
• Support with the input of information for the new seasons range into the Data Management system, for the initial agent samples to be produced.
• Keep Work in Progress reports up to date. A WIP report is a garment timeline detailing each stage of product development.
• Create and update fabric, trim and branding libraries, each season.

Profile

• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong level of IT packages: Microsoft Office Strong excel and word skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships internally and externally of the department.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and ability to translate into practical application.
• Strong organisational and time management ability. Either within a team or independently.
• Proactive & flexible.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good timekeeping.
• Garment construction and pattern cutting experience desirable.
