Job Description

Are you looking for a new role with a growing companyDo you have a positive attitude, excellent administration skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environmentIf I am excited to be recruiting for a well-established and reputable company, based in South Tyneside.Looking for a Business Support Administrator to support the on site team.Salary of 20-25k dependant on experience.Permanent and full time role, fully based in the office, parking on site.The Role:

  • Supporting with pulling together information packs based upon internal documents and client files
  • Planning the diaries of surveyors and planning travel time between appointments, including arranging survey appointments.
  • Liaising with clients and managing communication flow via email, telephone, and text.
  • Maintain and update projects, including work flow, also assisting invoice management and general administration duties relating to accounts.
  • Assist in the maintaining and updating of the companys Quality Assurance standards.
  • Assist in procedural reviews, document control and preparation to ensure that the company meets / maintains its accreditations.
  • Greeting visitors, making refreshments, organising and preparing the conference room for meetings, clearing up after meetings, stacking and unstacking the dishwasher etc.
  • Answer telephone calls appropriately, taking responsibility for the call and ensuring enquiries are dealt with both effectively and efficiently.
  • Check and maintain consumables, together with assisting in the purchasing of supplies to support the efficient operations of the business.
  • Periodic checking of equipment, updating the asset register and maintaining accurate inspection records / logs.
  • Undertake proof reading and arithmetical checks of documents to check for accuracy and errors.
  • Manage and analyse large amounts of data to produce mail merges, spreadsheets etc.
  • Produce correspondence, letters, reports, presentations, illustrations as requested.
  • To arrange and attend meetings for internal staff / external clients and record and distribute accurate minutes.
  • Undertake training and be the companys responsible First Aider
  • Attend training courses and seminars as instructed.
  • Ensure that equal opportunities and equality and diversity policies are understood and adhered to.
  • To undertake any duties commensurate with the post.
  • Undertake all duties in accordance with company and professional regulations, policies, practices and procedures.
The Person:
  • Positive attitude with the ability to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Confident with various Microsoft packages
  • Experience in Administration duties
