Job Description

Our client in South Molton have positions available for a hard working team player to assemble actuators in line with the company procedures and utilising EBS tools and processes. To assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies / top level componentsand test in line with the Company procedures.Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making yourself aware of the Health and Safety requirements for the role and department.
  • Demonstrating full commitment to the companiesLean system including application of the 5S tools
  • Consistent demonstration of good house-keeping.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and SOPs applicable to the role.
  • Adherence to all companypolicies (including Ethics )
  • Responsible for making yourself aware of H & S in the area.
  • IPC 610/620 soldering
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Reporting of Health & safety issues (accident reporting and near miss/observation reporting)
  • Demonstrate team working
  • Adherence to engineering drawings and work card instructions.
  • Adherence to quality standards applicable to all parts and process.
  • Meet the production times as stated on the job cards
  • Demonstrate flexibly to meet business requirements
  • Work as part of a team to meet departmental targets
The job will involve working in the electronics team in the manual assembly of small electrical components.This position is on a day shift Monday to Friday and is full time hours.If you have previous experience within electronics, or have any hobbies that involve detailed close work that requires good dexterity then this could be the opportunity for you.Easily accessible on the bus route from Barnstaple, South Molton and Tiverton.Hours: MondayThursday 8.00am-4.45pm and Friday 8.00am12.00pmPay: £8.91 + (DOE)Apply today with your CV detailing your relevant experience or contact Cordant People Barnstaple on if you would like to hear more information.
