Job Description

Office Manager/ Receptionist urgently required.Full-time Office Manager/ Receptionist, office based in Victoria. Monday to Friday, 35 hrs. Paying £19.23 per hr. Equivalent permanent salary is £35 000.Temporary for a month and if both parties are happy the role will become a 1 year maternity cover post.The role is a mixture of Office Manager, facilities, reception and health & Safety duties. The office is quiet, many staff work from home/ hybrid. Given the nature of this job it will need to be office based.Duties:

  • Manage day to day site Health and Safety & contractors.
  • Update and Ensure compliance with office procedures.
  • Preventing unauthorised site access by control of the entry system.
  • Ensuring visitors sign in and out, controlling allocation and use of passes.
  • Acting as Fire Marshal and First Aider, escorting guests in evacuations.
  • Planning, evaluating office systems, layouts, and procurement.
  • Keep inventory spreadsheet of and maintain office/ kitchen supplies.
  • Maintain day to day IT/Audiovisual onsite.
  • Operate the switchboard, first point of contact for visitors and administration.
