Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Temp to Perm position at a packaging company based in South Kirkby.You would be working initially for 13 weeks for Driver Hire and if all goes to plan at the end of that period you would become a permanent employee at a salary of 25k per annum plus other benefits. This is a very good company to work for and weve had verygood feedback from other drivers we have placed with this company.Driving duties:

Collecting stock or goods from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are complete
Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork
Updating route, mileage and delivery logs

Warehouse duties:

Receive deliveries of goods and supplies
Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck.
Pack orders.
Load, and sometimes deliver, goods.
Keep paperwork up to date
Clean work areas/housekeeping

Requirements:

At least 1 years experience of commercial driving
Ideally live locally to South Kirkby.
No more than 6 points on your licence for minor offences only
Positive attitude, smart presentation and a team player

Pay: £10.76 Basic/£12.05 Overtime (PAYE Advanced - holiday pay included) for 13 weeks - £25k per annum once made permanent.This role wont hang around, so dont waste time, apply today.
