Job Description

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) TeacherLocation: Wakefield, West YorkshireSalary: CompetitiveContract Type: Full-time, TemporaryReed Education is currently seeking an experienced and qualified EYFS teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team at a Primary School in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons to childrenaged 3 to 5 years old and ensuring that they make progress in their learning and development.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of all children in the class.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support childrens learning and development, including play-based and child-initiated learning.
  • Monitor childrens progress and use assessment to inform planning and differentiation of lessons.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes childrens well-being, social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with other staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure that the needs of individual children are met.
  • Promote a love of learning and positive attitudes towards education.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS or Key Stage 1.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective lessons that meet the needs of all children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methods and strategies.
