Reporting Accountant | up to £58,000 pa + Bonus 30% | Near Grimsby, north LincsJoin a growing Energy Company as a Reporting AccountantMorson are partnering with a growing Energy company dedicated to helping Britain achieve Net Zero and establishing their presence as a leading player in the energy market.The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and automation of processes used in the creation of reports for the internal stakeholders of the company.Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant you will provide support to the Head of FP&A, contributing to the generation of consolidated results and associated analytical insights.Your Role:

Close the month end ledgers and prepare the consolidated results
Prepare the monthly financial profit and loss reports for the Board and the Lenders
Prepare the monthly and quarterly Board packs including financial data and analysis
Prepare the monthly balance sheet, including net working capital analysis
Prepare the monthly cash report and rolling forecast
Populate the Group reporting template with balance sheet, profit and loss and equity statements
To support the quarterly forecasting and year end budgeting process
Prepare the weekly leadership gross margin and plant analysis reports
To build new processes and to continually improve those currently in place, adding increased automation to reports and the month end process
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Group Accountant /Head of Finance/ Head of FP&A
Key interface: Finance/Commercial/Senior leadership/Trading desk

Qualifications and Skills:To excel in this role, you should possess:

Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/ICAEW) or equivalent
Flexible approach to work.
Good interpersonal, communication skills and listening skills.
Able to use own initiative and multi task.
Understanding or experience of working in a strong control environment
Strong IT and systems skills, able to understand and make best use of site systems.
Consolidation experience
Experience of and proficiency in Financial applications.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential.
Experience of process automation and reporting with BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView) is preferrable.
Ability to investigate and resolve variances

Salary: £58,000 per annumBenefits include:

Bonus up to 30%
Overtime x 1.5 base

Company doubled pension up to 10% (EG. EE 5%, ER 10% = 15%)

Location: Immingham.
