Job Description

Enjoy Administration Interested in joining the world of logistics Looking for a company that values the development of their employees Look no further, DFDS are currently recruiting for a Transport Controller Apprentice to join the team.Working Monday to Friday, with flexibility on hours - you will be trained on all aspects of this role which includes (but is not limited to) following vehicle movements, to ensure smooth and on-time deliveries for our customers as well as communicating dailywith drivers via telematics systems, so you will need to have good communication skills. You will be required to learn and use many different DFDS systems, therefore an ability to use IT equipment efficiently is a must for this position. A proportion of therole will be liaising with various stakeholders and dealing with queries that may arise, so youll need to work quickly but accurately to ensure a great customer journey.DFDS are looking for a self-driven and motivated individual to join the team. You will have an ability to work off your own initiative, but also be a team player. You will be confident, with a good level of IT literacy. Problem solving is a key strengthfor this role, whilst also being organised and ready to take on a challenge in a very fast-paced environment.Now about what we can give you.
