- Physics Teacher required for high-performing 11-18 comprehensive in South East London- GCSE, AS and A2 Physics - September 2020 start- Physics Graduate with exceptional subject knowledge required- NQT consideredTeacher of Physics required for South East London 11-18 comprehensive to start in September 2020. Timetable will be split between KS3 general science, GCSE Physics and AS and A Level Physics. Previous experience of teaching to a high level at both GCSE and A Level Physics is essential for this role.For this Physics Teachin g position you need to be pro-active and self-motivated, aspiring to be an outstanding practitioner if not already. You should be an innovative teacher of Physics with the ability to prepare lessons that ensure progression for high-achieving students that like their ability to be stretched. Several of students at the school are highly academic so we are looking for a classroom practitioner with exceptional subject knowledge and a passion for Physics that can be shared with the students.Science in particular has excelled across the academy with over half of students making far greater progress than that expected nationally over the last couple of years. This has been achieved by great support and teamwork throughout the department.
