Job Description

Looking to develop a career with an award winning business in the financial services industry We are now looking to recruit a mid to senior level PHP Developer to join our Digital Strategy team where you willplay a key role indeveloping and maintaining our award winning cloud based web applications.We have excellent career development opportunities if you are looking to progress your knowledge and experience further.What will your role involve

  • Develop our web applications, building internal APIs, consuming external data sources and developing back-end services utilising the Zend framework.
  • Translate business requirements into high quality code.
  • Design, build & maintain highly performance, reliable and reusable code.
  • Tackle complex projects using Agile principles in line with business priorities.
  • Identify and fix bugs or performance issues.
  • Build new APIs for mobile and web applications.
  • Consume external 3rd party API services.

  • About you:
  • Willing to learn, be pro-active, self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.

  • You will have at least 5 GCES’s A* to C or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and skills of:
  • Object oriented PHP 5.3+

  • XML / SOAP
  • JSON
  • GIT
  • Preferably be familiar with:
  • Zend Framework 2 & 3
  • Doctrine
