Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to be based in our London office to help support our London City Hub Volunteers.We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to be based in our London office to help support our London City Hub Volunteers. This will role will ensure that Volunteers have the right resources in place to carry out their roles safely and effectively. As City Hub Coordinator you will work closely with Samaritans staff and volunteers in the administration of the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers so that both current and new volunteers have an enjoyable, fulfilling and rewarding experience with Samaritans.

  • London Bridge and Ewell Office
  • 12 months FTC, full time and part-time hours will be considered
  • £23,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) + competitive benefits

Youll need to be able to think on your feet as you coordinate the day to day running of our busy new City Hub. In addition to this, youll need strong verbal and written communications as a key part of this role will be supporting staff and volunteers with their recruiment needs, responding to queries from a number of different stakeholders as well as building and maintaining relationships with staff and volunteers.This is a really exciting time to be joining the City Hub team as they launch a new and innovative service and this role will be crucial to its success.If youre interested in finding out more about the role please read the attached job description as set out below..About SamaritansAt Samaritans, our vision is that fewer people die by suicide.
