Reed Financial Services are proud to be working alongside an expert financial planning firm in recruiting a Paraplanner with an emphasise within Investments.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm with plans for growth over the coming year so the successful candidate will have plenty of opportunity to progress .Key PurposeWorking with the Paraplanning team and Independent Financial Advisers, to provide exceptional technical support, report writing skills and financial planning that supports the business strategy.Responsibilities Work towards exceeding individual KPIs to meet workflow standards and achieve service excellence whilst maintaining a culture of Treating Customers Fairly and putting the client first, with consistent delivery of the right customer outcomes Build collaborative working relationships with the team, to be involved in client work early on the client engagement and development process Take ownership of client case work, managing it from receipt to completion within agreed timescales, through effective time management and prioritising Gather the relevant technical and data so that the necessary research and analysis of client circumstances and arrangements to ensure their needs and objectives are met. Create an audit trail for each client planning and research case which supports and justifies the recommendations and ensuring this is appropriately saved to centralised data storage Prepare highly accurate client suitability documents which are personalised to the client and avoid repetitive generic statements Ensure compliance and company policy and procedures are followed consistently to minimise risk to the company Aid and input with the due diligence process in relation to products and investments Maintain own technical competence and have in-depth knowledge of all relevant products and market trends. Ensure back office systems are updated daily in relation to clients, products and task managementQualifications Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Financial Planning Chartered Insurance Institute Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Chartered Financial Planner status desirableA well-established paraplanner with strong technical abilities who can really hit the ground running.- The successful candidate should be level 4 Diploma in Financial Services qualified and have experience in investment research- Used to working in a dynamic environment, a supportive team player and have exemplary self-organisational and time management skills.- With the core focus on day-to-day paraplanning, the ideal candidate would also be willing to assist in the development of processes and suitability content.In return my client can offer a competitive salary between £38k-£46k DOE and although there will be a flexible/hybrid working approach, the person will be expected to attend the Taunton office on at least a weekly basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business where opportunities to progress are fully supported.
