Azure Data Engineer - Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Azure SQLMy client based in Somerset are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract with strong likelihood of extension thereafterworking 100% remotely / from homepaying £400 - £500pd INSIDE IR35.Core Essential Skillset & Experience- Microsoft Azure Data Factory- Microsoft Azure DevOps (Version Control, DTAP, Infrastructure as Code, Build, Release, etc.)- Microsoft Azure SQL- Microsoft Power BI- Exposure to multiple database platforms / different syntaxes of SQL ieSQL Server, PostgreSQL, OracleLong List Desirable Skillset & Experience- Microsoft Azure Data Stack- Microsoft Azure DBA- Relational Database analysis / design / optimisation /performance tuning at an expert level- Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD), Data Mining (DM), Change Data Capture (CDC)- Data Warehousing; EDW, ODS, Virtual Data Marts (VMD), Kimball, hash signatures / hashbytes, etc- Advanced T-SQL, SCD, Type 2 Merging, precompiling data, disparate data layering, dynamic pivoting, caching, aggregating, windowing, etc- CI/CD, Automation, PowerShell, Scripting, IAC, ARM, CLI : preferably within Azure DevOps- Multiple tier architecture and continuous delivery for Power BI, Power Query, DAX, etc.- PowerBI Data Workspaces: Separation of concerns between Data >> Data Models >> Visuals.
