Job Description

“Believe you can and youre halfway there.” Theodore Roosevelt.Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of our Tamworth-based client.Our client is a well-established industry leader known for its positive and inclusive workplace culture. This presents an exceptional opportunity to become part of a friendly team, backed by the guidance of an excellent senior manager.Your responsibilities as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, will include:

  • Check and reconcile supplier statements.
  • File invoices and statements onto ledger.
  • Processing 500+ invoices per month.
  • Post credit notes.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Order stationary.
  • Match Purchase orders to Purchase receipts.
The preferred candidate will possess prior experience in Purchase Ledger; however, our client is open to considering candidates at a junior level who demonstrate the right mindset and strong work ethic.The ideal candidate will also possess:
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to work with a team.
