Job Description

To do that, were mindful of staying true to the values that make us who we are, and proud of what we do.We currently have an opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our team!Working in collaboration with the Equity Release adviser and other colleagues, you will assist the adviser in preparing and producing suitability reports in line with the company policy. The role will involve promoting the companys services in a professional and FCA compliant manner.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with queries from adviser and other parties through effective communications.
  • Record client communications (whether that communication is written, oral or electronic), including client related communication for third parties. All communication with client and adviser or third parties to be recorded in the clients file in line with company policy and in clear intelligible English.
  • Collect and collate information and data about and from adviser and client in accordance with the principles of know your client and company policy, and ensure all the required compliance documentation is present and correct.
  • Prepare suitability letters and reports for approval by the adviser in line with company policy and prepare associated accompanying documentation as required. This will include the pre-completion of documentation ready for clients to check and sign.
  • You will commit to continuous personal development, keeping knowledge up to date and retaining supporting records for review.

  • No financial qualifications are necessary, but an understanding of Equity Release /Mortgage industry would be advantageous.
  • Good communications skills: The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to deal with individuals at all levels.
  • Team working: Ability to contribute as part of a team, and deal with individuals at all levels within the business.
  • Good IT Skills - able to navigate word, excel and database packages with ease.
  • Professional integrity: The strength of character to explain a professional point while having empathy.
  • Relations with others: The personal qualities and skills that promote open and constructive relations with colleagues.
  • Flexibility: the flexibility for and commitment to continual service, development and improvement.
  • Be able to work within a defined business process.
