Job Description

Role: Microsoft Cloud Technical SpecialistLocation: Solihull or homebasedSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Technical Specialist to join a leading organisation based in Solihull. My client is also happy for the successful candidate to work remote with occasional visits int the office. Responsibilities: Microsoft Cloud Technical Specialist

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to the company’s customers.
  • IT infrastructure support both remotely and on-site.
  • Responsible for design and delivery of small to large scale infrastructure projects, managing the technical relationship with clients and supporting the delivered solution.
    • Technical skills and experience: Microsoft Cloud Technical Specialist
  • Experience of design and implementing Microsoft Cloud Solutions such as, Azure Cloud – AD – Intune Autopilot, office365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Domain Services – Group Policies, User Authentication, Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Knowledge of Windows Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience of Cloud Backups.
  • Understanding and managing Cloud licensing and features.
  • Experience of Cloud migrations, such as Exchange Online, Data migrations, Domain services
  • Current Microsoft Window Server Operating system, including but not limited to Window Server 2016 & 2012 R2.
  • Detailed understanding of User Management in Microsoft Windows environments
  • Capable of designing a solution based on the customer’s requirement.
  • Pre-Sales technical writing and generation of proposals.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service skills focused upon meeting customer needs.
  • A good understanding of project management and service delivery processes.
  • Ability to generate and present technical reports.
  • Knowledge and experience of cloud based virtual networking and network security products (virtual switches, routers, and firewalls)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Implementation and Support of SANs (iSCSI and Fibre)
  • ESX VMware
  • Backup Enterprise Solutions.
