Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer - BirminghamRef CTJ35Salary negotiable depending on skills PermanentIf you are looking for a new role within mechanical engineering, look no further. With over 10 years of experience delivering a range of building projects our client is growing at a significant rate and as such are searching for a Mechanical Engineer tobecome part of their fantastic team in their Birmingham office.The ideal candidate will have:

  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical engineering or equal professional qualifications
  • Building services industry experience
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, engineering consultancy and/or mechanical installations
  • Experience in design calculation software packages: AutoCAD, TAS, Hevacomp, Cymap, IES
  • Good working knowledge of industry regulations, mechanical design, and installations
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
Role Requirements:
  • You will contribute to developing the design of engineering solutions and systems within the built environment
  • Produce mechanical designs and drawings for a wide range of building services and renewable projects
  • Use AutoCAD to generate working drawings for construction projects.
  • Produce reports to support design concepts that show compliance with standards and best practice guides
  • Attend internal design department meetings and participate in time management and workload planning.
