Having control over projects from initial stage to completion is something that this company believes is essential for their engineers to produce efficient designs.A privately owned Building Service consultancy that has been established for over 20 years is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Working for this company you will be given the opportunity to work on a wide range of mechanical projects located throughout the UK on a variety of sectors including Commercial, Health, Educational, Retail, Leisure and Industrial sector.Duties and Responsibilities as a Mechanical Design Engineer;• Detailed design of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning• To produce design schemes and sketches • Carrying out occasional site visits to oversee Electrical Installations • Carrying out design calculations - both manually and computer techniques• Site surveys • Project reports • Providing design support on projects in the sectors of Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial and industrial.•Requirements for a Mechanical Design Engineer;• You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or contractor as an Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer • ONC/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering • Understanding and experience of working with AutoCAD and design softwares such as Cymap.In return• The role as a Mechanical Design Engineer on permanent basis with regular salary reviews based on merit and a clear line for progression• Competitive salary and package which equates to £30,000 - £40,000• Company car• On site car parkingIf you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
