Job Description

Solihull – £24,000 - £28,000Litigation - Legal SecretaryI’m delighted to be working with a leading firm in Solihull, who have been a client of ours for many years and who are currently going through a fantastic period of growth an expansion. As a result, they are keen to add a Litigation Legal Secretary to theirteam nearSolihull. Ideally, they would like to recruit a Legal Secretary with experience of working for partners and fee earners in aPrivate Client / Litigation department.Based in modern, well-equipped offices, close to local commuter links and withonsite parking, this role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary with experience in Private Client / Litigation department able to commute to near Solihull.Duties and responsibilities of the Legal Secretary inPrivate Client:

  • Previous legal secretarial experience working within a Litigation team is essential.
  • Ability to type, draft and produce documents efficiently, and with ease is essential.
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Word is highly essential.
  • Familiar with production of legal forms - IHT400 and LPAs
  • First class communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent levels of accuracy.
  • Initiative to learn and ability to self-motivate.
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines with the ability to remain calm.
  • Capability to prioritise and multitask effectively, with good time management and organisational skills.
  • Always demonstrate discretion and the ability to always maintain absolute confidentiality.
  • IT skills - Microsoft word, typing, case management use, formatting and editing documents.
