Job Description

Thats why we live by our values of were positive, were brave and we own it.The Role:To work with the Finance Operations Manager on all areas of operational finance, specifically working to ensure that processes and procedures are robust and monitoring and control checks are conducted.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion of all daily Settlement and Reconciliations
  • Raise any required corrective actions on variances or unknown items or suspense transactions.
  • Ensure that the ATM settlement figure is reconciled, paid daily and all reports are presented for approval.
  • Complete Monthly & Daily Reconciliations for Control Accounts.
  • Ensure the production of various control accounts on revolving portfolio and to manage and supervise corrective action within agreed timescales and raise any operational issues in accordance with group policy.
  • Checking and Controlling of the Interface 3rd Party Postings. Responsible for the integrity of postings in the cash control and accounts.
  • Ensure Payment Processing is completed within policy and SLA.
  • Provide cover specifically around tasks and processing, BACS payments and cheque refunds as required by the business.
  • Deal with queries from other departments and the query queue on EU1 and support other departments as required.
  • Involvement in internal and external audits as required.
  • Update and maintain policies and work with Finance operations manager to implement changes.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Experience of using Tallyman or ServiceView
  • Excel-Basic/Intermediate
  • Data Entry skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required
