We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Role OutlineLeading a technical team to assure and optimise the data management capabilities, the Data Manager is a critical role for the future of our clients business, responsible for the effective performance and delivery of the data management infrastructure. Thisinfrastructure provides EBIT enablement through data insight, business agility, operational effectiveness and revenue generation.With a strong business focus, the Data Manager will be principal advocate for data as the organisations #1 asset. Working hand in hand with key stakeholders the role holder will lead on the identification and delivery of value-add, data driven opportunities,strengthening the clients advantage in the market.This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and performance of a class-leading data management technology stack.It will be responsible for the company wide offering of consolidated business data, data optimisation, value-add analytics, data quality management tooling and senior level reporting, thus enabling to leverage the greatest value possible from its data.Core Responsibilities

• Accountable for the delivery of company data management capabilities, data systems and necessary standards.
• Supporting the development and delivery of company Data Strategy, Data Governance and tactical initiatives.
• Optimising the companys data infrastructure, by assuring accuracy and availability of their Single Customer View through the I&C Datalake and associated infrastructure and integrations.
• Responsible for the development and delivery of company analytics and insight capability.
• Responsible for the management and delivery of critical BDAs and Agility Layer, providing expertise to Digital Solutions and Segment developers in building robust and effective BDAs.
• Focus on business-wide data quality, advocating and driving improvements to the way our business users approach data.
• Responsible for driving the growth of BS robotics and automation capabilities, delivering cross segment efficiency benefits.
• Responsible for the delivery and optimisation of core-system data for consumption across the business, through multiple platforms and applications.
• Responsible for the delivery of data quality management tooling and infrastructure
• Responsible for the delivery of complex reporting capability. Working across the business and wider energy and data technology industries to identify future data and technology related opportunities.
• Lead, develop and motivate staff, empowering them to take ownership of their objectives and drive their own development.
• Embedding a high performing and high engagement culture within the team, supported with a robust performance management approach.

Essential Skills

• Expert knowledge of Business Solutions IT systems, infrastructure, architecture, hosting, data mapping, service providers, service agreements and relationships and governance frameworks.
• Significant experience working in data management and application development environment
• Working knowledge of MS data management platforms
• Practice in defining standards for infrastructure development and administration.
• Keen innovator in the use of data technology, with knowledge and expertise at the forefront of the field, a desire to generate ideas and experience in prototyping solutions across multiple platforms.

• Acting to drive more value from the complex network of data dependencies. Identifying and rectifying silo-ed thinking and behaviour to ensure ongoing productivity in data processing
