Job Description

Our client, based on site at Land Rover in Solihull, is currently looking for GENERAL OPERATIVES to join their established team working to support the operation on site.Your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain the production lines within one area of the site but you need to be prepared to be flexible in the roles you are asked to complete. This role will including emptying the various bins which are segregatedby waste type to enable recycling. You will need to sweep and debris from the floor and support in the clean up of any spills on site. You will be part of a team working throughout the facility to maintain the excellent standards of cleanliness expectedby the Land Rover team on site.You will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. It will be an intense and fast paced role keeping you moving for your full shift. Overtime options are availableon the afternoon shift it may be that you are asked to stay for an extra 2 hours shouldproduction on site require it.Hours and Pay Rates AFTERNOON SHIFT FIXEDMonday to Thursday 1400-2200 and Friday 1100-1600
  • Basic Rate (for normal hours) £9.16 per hour
  • Overtime worked in the week £11.97 per hour
  • Overtime worked on a Saturday £13.50 per hour
  • Overtime worked on a Sunday £14.94 per hour
Hours and Pay Rates NIGHT SHIFT FIXEDMonday to Thursday 2045-0630
  • Basic Rate (for normal hours) £9.89 per hour
  • Overtime worked in the week £11.97 per hour
  • Overtime worked on a Saturday£13.50 per hour
  • Overtime worked on a Sunday £14.94 per hour
