Job Description

A Solihull based Building Services Engineers is recruiting for a Bid Coordinator to oversee the tender submission process from PQQ/ITT stage to final submission for bids.You will be working as part of an exciting and busy team, you will be responsible for the successful completion of pre qualifications and framework tender submissions whilst overseeing the overall bid process for projects.Day to day responsibilities:

  • Look to create and develop a brand new Bid library
  • Monitor incoming tender opportunities and portal notices
  • Research, assess and track future potential opportunities
  • Write and complete all EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and RFIs
  • Enter and update all opportunities identified onto the system
  • Liaise closely with other group departments identify tender requirements and allocate responsibilities
  • Edit and proof read tender responses and reviewing submissions
  • Attend Framework/Tender Interviews
  • Maintain and update all CVs and library of evidence for future submissions
  • Maintain an up-to-date register of all tendering portal
Relevant ExperienceRequired:
  • Team player
  • Adaptable to deal with changing requirements and be able to demonstrate excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to communicate strong messages in written form
  • Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience in a similar bid coordination role is essential, together with excellent competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Adobe InDesign (desirable)
  • Bidding experience within construction
  • Knowledge and experience within Building Services highly desirable
  • Well organised, structured, and professional, with a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face)
