Job Description

Project Manager - CRM/Communications - P/T Contract - £55k pro-rata + benefits - Central LondonThis organisation is looking for a part-time Project Manager, to cover maternity leave, probably until the end of 2022. The Project Manager will help shape the delivery of strategically important organisation wide projects (led by Information Services),utilising your project management skills. The 2 main projects will include CRM and Internal Communications. This organisation has a very low turnover, and project management isnt something the team generally feel that comfortable with, and using languagelike Agile, sprints, waterfall, prince2 etc is a turn off for them. You will therefore need to have PM tactics/approaches that dont necessarily labour what they are called, able to use simple and appropriate language to communicate with people at all levelsand abilities.SALARY ETC:

  • £55,471 pro-rata per annum (full time salary) actual £44,377 per annum
  • Part-time 28-hours a week and happy to consider flexible working
  • Contract to end of 2022 (maternity cover)
  • Currently most staff are working from home and they are introducing a phased return to the office. They are happy to consider hybrid working.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience of managing strategically important programmes and project teams
  • Experience of stakeholder management and internal communications
  • Experience of digital transformation of policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the skill to engage staff from across the organisation with setting the aims & evaluation of a project (ability to use friendly terminology for a wide audience range)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Digital skills, including the ability to quickly utilise unfamiliar tools & platforms
  • Implementing appropriate project management frameworks and techniques fit for different types of projects/teams
  • A strong understanding of theory of change and people change management
  • Skilled at managing a complex workload of effectively, priortising and responding to various challenges as they emerge.
JOB ROLE:
  • Develop and deliver project plans to support delivery of agreed strategically important projects, led by the Information Services team (e.g. Contact Relationship Management (CRM) project, Internal communications project etc)
  • Lead cross-departmental project teams making sure that projects are planned well and executed to time and budget
  • Manage stakeholders effectively - these may include staff, contractors and affiliates
  • Ensure effective delivery of project priorities by bringing in expertise and resource from across the organisation and externally as appropriate
  • Work with colleagues to develop effective communication strategy and messaging
  • Support finance controls by monitoring and reporting expenditure
  • Report to project boards/project sponsors as appropriate
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of projects
  • Develop and maintain good systems and ways of working in relevant projects, whilst being mindful of data protection requirements
