Job Description

Are you a Paraplanner looking for a new opportunity within wealth management Do you have a passion for providing high-quality advice and service to clients Do you have the skills and qualifications to support financial advisers in delivering financialplans and solutions If yes, then please keep reading!Reed Specialist Recruitment are proud to be representing a well established, but still very ambitious, wealth management firm who are looking for a Paraplanner to help their clients from their office in the heart of London.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties -

  • Conducting research and analysis on various investment, pension and insurance products and solutions for our clients.
  • Preparing and maintaining client files, records, and reports in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Communicating and liaising with clients, providers, and third parties to obtain and verify information, resolve queries, and provide updates.
  • Supporting the senior paraplanner and financial advisers in preparing and delivering financial plans, recommendations, and reviews to clients.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest market trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Developing and enhancing technical knowledge and skills through continuous learning and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have -
  • Experience in working within the wealth management sector, preferably in a technical support or client service role for at least 5 years.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality standards.
  • A diploma or advanced diploma in regulated financial planning or paraplanning from a recognized body, such as the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications, such as Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and financial planning tools.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
