Job Description

  • Position: Assembly Operator
  • Salary: £10 per hour
  • Location: Slinfold
  • Hours: 8.30am - 5.15pm, 3.30pm finish Friday - 39.5 hour week
Duties will include:To assemble electrical connectors and accessories in accordance with company work instructions, to include some or all of the following activities:
  • Washing/cleaning of piece parts
  • Printing
  • Preparation/application of adhesives
  • Operation of assembly equipment
  • Packaging/labelling
  • To ensure your work area kept clean and tidy at all times
  • To undertake any other aspect of assembly or production work, within known capability, as requested by the Production Supervisor
Key Skills required:
  • Previous experience of assembly work within an engineering/small batch assembly environment preferred
  • Warehouse experience advantageous
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy essential
  • Experience in wire preparation and soldering preferred
  • Must be manually dextrous in order to assemble very small parts
