Job Description

Quality and Compliance ManagerSwansea£30,000 - £35,000Yolk Engineering is pleased to be recruiting a Quality and Compliance Manager for a leading manufacturer based in Swansea.Our client manufacturers products across the globe with a turnover in excess of2 billion euros and employing over 10,000 staff. They are one of the best in their fields and offer huge progression within the company. This is what youll be doingReporting to the Managing Director and working collaboratively with the wider management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant legislative requirements and managing the quality function for the site.You will manage and develop a working environment focused on quality, ensuring the business has the right processes, information and procedures to meet requirements and the standards established by formal management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and BRC. The experience youll bring to the team

  • Ensuring Quality is at the forefront of all existing and new product developments, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure ISO systems are maintained and developed, thereby contributing to the achievement of consistent operational performance and standards.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly QA duties are completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Attend and actively participate in relevant operational meetings.
  • Ensure complaints are dealt with in an effective manner and look at root causes to minimise recurrence of issues.
  • Ensure third party accreditations remain compliant.

  • A Manufacturing, technical or industrial background
  • Experience of managing quality systems
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Strong coaching, mentoring skills, leading others to be their very best
  • Auditor Training
  • Experience of Industry standards/guidelines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • The ability to analyse, interpret and communicate data
  • The capability of working on own initiative with minimum supervision
