An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within the Stroke Service across the Swansea Bay Health Board and Early Supported Stroke Discharge Team.This is a full time position.We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a special interest in Stroke and Neurology, who has excellent therapeutic skills and a sound knowledge of treating neurological conditions.You will work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide assessment and treatment of neurologically impaired patients and contribute to the further development of the stroke and neurology service.The post will be based at Singleton Hospital but you will work within our dynamic Stroke Team across the Health-BoardYou will need to have substantial, previous experience as a Physiotherapist and be able to demonstrate experience of working in a relevant clinical field, treating neurological conditions.The successful candidate will also have a diploma/degree in Physiotherapy, and be registered with the HCPC.If you can demonstrate good communication skills, have the ability to plan and deliver evidence based clinical care we want to hear from you.As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out by SBUHB.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.For further details / informal visits contact:Abigail ClaytonMedical Team Leadabigail.clayton@wales.nhs.uk
