Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 or Band 5 with a wealth of experience looking to broaden your expert knowledge Swansea Bay University Health Board currently has 2 full-time vacancies for a Band 6 occupational Therapist.An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an Occupational Therapist to the Band 6 rotation in Swansea Bay University Health Board. Rotations include community settings and all 3 hospitals sites within the Health Board. The current vacancy is based in the elderly rehab team at Singleton hospitalThe second post will be based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital based within the medical team, this post will be a static post.The posts will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to work collaboratively within an integrated multi-disciplinary team. You will provide specialist assessment, goal directed intervention and rehabilitation to patients in this setting. Timely complex discharge planning experience is essential and is an integral part of this role.You will be required to work closely with MDT colleagues and contribute to the development of a high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy service. You will have an opportunity to help shape and promote the service, providing you with a unique opportunity to engage in service development and change.You will need excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills and sound clinical knowledge, but enthusiasm and the potential to develop these within the post will also be valued.
