An exciting opportunity has become available to provide clinical expertise, knowledge and skills as a 37.5 hours a week Clinical Nurse Specialist caring for patients with lymphoma working within the Swansea Bay Health Board.The Role of the CNS is autonomous and covers areas of case load management, clinical practice, service development, education, research and audit and reflects the practice and aspirations of our forward thinking Haematology team.The post holder will work as a band 6 until successful completion of an in-house competency assessment programme for which support and mentorship will be provided. It is envisaged that this will be completed with 18 months.On successful completion of this programme the post holder will have developed the necessary skills and knowledge to work within a band 7 role.
