Client DetailsPage Personnel are working with a Globally recognised Retail business based in Skelmersdale who are looking for a part- qualified Management Accountant to join their team. You will be working with a supportive team, in an ever expanding environment.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the Management Accountant are:
  • Responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of all manufacturing overhead costs for the business.
  • Ownership of period end reporting, ensuring that this is accurate and that all variances can be explained and reported in the appropriate column on the site template.
  • Business partner the budget holders, focusing on managing spend within AOP.
  • Attend and actively participate in the daily and weekly QCDM.Work with Finance manager to Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and implement changes
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Arranging payment and posting of journals
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Management Accountant is someone who:
  • Has experience in a similar role
  • QBE or part qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Time Management
  • Ability to deal with multiple accounts
